Tony Srouji, Musician

Tony Srouji is a composer and jazz guitarist. Born on the 20th of January 1962. Tony Srouji started playing guitar at the age of 8 years old. In 1980-83 he studied jazz guitar with Tony Romandini. In 1983-84 he attended Concordia University, where he studied composition. He also studied guitar and jazz arranging with Fred Hamilton, and electroacoustic  music with Kevin Austin. In 1985-87 he studied jazz guitar with Neil Smolar. In 1987 he received his Bachelor Degree in music composition and jazz studies. In 1988-89 he studied composition and orchestration with Marian Borkowski. He then continued his music education at University of Montreal, studying composition and orchestration with Michel Longtin (1989-92).
